3. Service description
Kinfolk Ledger provides household financial education through facilitated programmes. We are an education provider only. We do not hold a financial advisory licence under the Capital Markets and Services Act 2007 or the Financial Services Act 2013. Nothing in our programmes, sessions, or written materials constitutes financial advice, investment advice, or product recommendations.
Services are available to households based in Malaysia. Remote sessions may be available by prior arrangement.
4. Programme enrolment
Enrolment is confirmed when both parties agree on dates and a programme outline and you have received written confirmation from us. Payment in full or an agreed deposit is required before the first session commences.
5. User responsibilities
- Provide accurate contact and household information when enquiring or enrolling.
- Attend confirmed sessions or provide reasonable notice if rescheduling is needed.
- Use website content and programme materials for personal household purposes only.
- Not reproduce or distribute programme materials without written permission.
6. Payment terms
All fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM). Payment is accepted via bank transfer or other methods confirmed at the time of enrolment. Published programme fees are inclusive of all session costs and materials. No additional charges are introduced after enrolment.
Refund policy
Cancellations made more than 7 calendar days before the first session: full refund. Cancellations within 7 days of the first session: 50% refund. Once a programme has commenced, fees are non-refundable for sessions already delivered. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate rescheduling requests.

All content on this website and in programme materials — including text, structure, templates, and written summaries — is the intellectual property of Kinfolk Ledger. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive licence to use materials for the purposes of the programme you have enrolled in. Materials may not be reproduced commercially or distributed to third parties.
8. Disclaimers
Our programmes are educational in nature. We do not make claims about financial outcomes. All information provided is intended to help households understand their existing arrangements, not to direct purchasing decisions. We strongly encourage households to consult a licensed financial adviser for product-specific decisions.
This website is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will be error-free or uninterrupted.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, Kinfolk Ledger shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this website or participation in our programmes. Our total liability shall not exceed the programme fee paid by the household.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Kinfolk Ledger from any claim arising from your misuse of website content, breach of these terms, or inaccurate information provided during enrolment.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate an ongoing programme engagement by providing written notice. Where Kinfolk Ledger terminates a programme without cause, a pro-rata refund of unused sessions will be provided. Where a household terminates after programme commencement, refund terms in Section 6 apply.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute shall first be addressed through good-faith communication. If unresolved, disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
13. General provisions
